Tuesday March 1st was the inaugural event utilizing California’s new Remote Caller Bingo Law. California’s Remote Caller Bingo law was a terrific move by California legislators to help the state’s charities raise funds in the wake of needed cutbacks and other consequences of recent economic times. It allows charities to conduct bingo games that offer larger prize money on par with casinos. A central location broadcasts a bingo game via video and broadband technologies to charity halls around the state. These locations, receiving the the simultaneous broadcast, play traditional paper and dauber bingo based off of the live ball call from the broadcast location.

Tuesday night’s players where surprised at how smooth the game and technology went. Even more than the technology, players were thrilled to win far greater prize money than the older traditional charity bingo law allowed. There were winners in every charity location. The biggest winner of all was not a player but the American Legion Post 208 in Dixon California who’s earnings for charity in a single night were in the thousand of dollars. For the American Legion post in Dixon, earnings like this on a weekly basis will allow the post to continue funding their many worthy causes. Bingo Innovations of California is licensed by the California Gambling Control Commission to broadcast and manage these games. Craig Van Sant, Director of Sales and Marketing for Bingo Innovations of California adds, “We currently have a backlog of over 30 charities signed up and waiting to join the game and more groups are inquiring everyday. These new groups coming on board will lead to even more prize money for players, new and exciting games and more money for the charities that host the games.

Games will continue on Tuesday nights. For times, locations and promotions visit us at LinkedBingo.com

The first ever “remote caller bingo” in the state will be held Tuesday, March 1 with at least three non-profit charitable groups participating. (click here to see locations). Officials from both the state and county have been invited to attend and review this new fund raising method for non-profit organizations. The groups that can benefit range from veteran’s organization, to service clubs to church organizations.

The doors at the Veteran’s Hall in Dixon, at 1305 North First Street, will open at 4 pm and the first bingo session will start 6pm. The second session will start between 7 and 7:30 and the third session around 9 pm.

Cards (for the eight games in each session) will cost $25 each and can be purchased the night of the games at the Veteran’s Hall in Dixon. The payouts for each game will be determined by the number of players collectively from all locations in each game. As new non-profit groups are added in the future the winnings will increase exponentially but on March1, payouts will vary depending on the final number of players.

According to Michael T. Lowen of Bingo Innovations, the management company for remote caller bingo, “The opening night game will include at least three separate locations playing the same game at the same time with the jackpot winnings going to the first person to bingo. American Legion Dixon, American Legion Ontario, Elks Lodge Desert Hot Springs are the three groups committed for the opening “pilot games.” Lowen said, “We are very excited about the prospect of being able to help provide funding for the many cash strapped charities throughout California. As the popularity of this new bingo concept increases so will the amount of money local non-profits will realize to help them with their local programs.”

According to Craig Van Sant, Director Sales and Marketing for Bingo Innovations, “ We guarantee at least a $600 per game payout on average and we will have one $50,000 cover all prize opportunity per each of the three eight game session. To achieve the $50,000 cover all it must be done in 46 balls or less. At this time, these offers are for opening night only.
